My Pink Stamper Design Team Day ~ May 2012

Hello Everyone and welcome back to this month's My Pink Stamper Design Team Day.  This month we were tasked to complete ANY type of project using Robyn's lasted image set Girlie Doodles sold exclusively at Pumpkin Spice and her latest sentiment stamp set Girlie Sayings

For my project, I created a gift card holder using my Imagine:

Materials Used:
  • Imagine cartridges Greeting Cards Inside and Out and All Wrapped Up
  • Cricut cartridge Mickey and Friends
  • My Pink Stamper Girlie Doodles and Girlie Sayings stamp set
  • Cuttlebug A2 folder Spots and Dots
  • My Pink Stamper Darkest Night Black Hybrid Ink
  • Promarker in Cyan
  • Stampin' Up! Certainly Celery ribbon
  • Stampin' Up! library clips
  • Stampin' Up! Ice Cream Parlor buttons
  • Inkssentials Enamel accents in white
The card shape and layers are from the Imagine cartridge Greeting Cards Inside and Out.  I kept a few of the original layers, but also flood filled some with coordinating patterns from the Imagine cartridge All Wrapped Up.   The purse is from the My Pink Stamper Girlie Doodles stamp set (stamped twice and pop dotted) as well as the "Happy Birthday" sentiment used  in the inside of the gift card holder.  The "Addicted to shopping!" sentiment on the front of the card is from the My Pink Stamper Girlie Sayings stamp set and the tage is cut from Mickey and Friends.  It's hard to tell from the pictures, but both the front and inside have  a lot of pop dotted layers that really make it a fun holder ready for a gift card.

I hope you have a happy crafting week.  I look forward to seeing your creations.  =)

Altered Mini Boxes

In addition to the one large box, I also created 25 mini boxes to gift everyone that participated in the altered box swap on the Cricut Circle Message Board.

Materials Used:
  • Provo Craft medium scalloped square chipboard box.
  • My Mind's Eye Rosy Collection
  • Adirondack acrylic paint dabber in Pearl
  • "Hug Snug" seam binding in white
  • Stampin' Up! Holly Berry designer fabric
  • Stampin' Up! Holly Berry buttons
It was fun creating these for my Circle sisters.  I created two different versions and filled them with little green goodies.   I tried to match the box  to their stated style preference, although both boxes are what would you say...eclectic? =)

Birthday Card Redo

Do you ever make a project and am not happy with the final outcome?   Well, this birthday card was one of them.  It needed a little something extra...

Well, I had an idea when I was thinking about what I wanted to create for a project for a Crop.Chocolate Challenge.

NSD Online Challenge #5 - With This Ring...
With This Ring…
Include buttons or other embellishment in a shape {or} letter – ie heart, linked wedding rings, circle, R, A, etc.
I used the buttons as they were to form a bouquet (circle) of balloons:
Small change, but a big difference.  Now I am happy with it!  =)

There's No Place Like Gnome

This project was for the Cricut Circle NSD Crop: Cricut Craft Room Challenge.

I used the Cricut Craft Room Basics to cut the scalloped square (did you know that EVERYONE gets that cart for free?  It's automatically downloaded for you once you sign up to use the Cricut Craft Room.  Gotta love FREE!).  The gnome house and the sign are cut from the Cricut digital cartridge Gnomes and Mushrooms.  Lastly, the designer paper is from the DCWV Hippie Chick stack and the solid cardstock is all from my scraps.
